Our Faith & Finances: A Biblical Approach to Financial Literacy course is designed to benefit congregations and community members, providing practical strategies to stop the debt cycle and embrace a financially secure life rooted in stewardship and faith.
Faith and Finances
Faith & Finances: A Biblical Approach to Financial Literacy is an 8-week virtual study. Lessons are presented in 40-45 minute facilitator-led segments, with scripture references and group discussion questions to facilitate healthy conversation. Additionally, action items and personal reflection questions are included to foster easy implementation for every participant.
SESSIONS OVERVIEW
Session #1 - Shifting Your Money Mindset
Objective: Help participants understand the importance of their mindset towards money and how to align their financial thinking with biblical principles.
Session #2 - Overcoming Fear to Reach Financial Goals
Objective: Help participants identify their financial fears, take them captive, and develop strategies to overcome these fears in order to achieve their financial goals.
Session #3 - Your Finances, God's Way
Objective: Participants will understand the value of financial literacy and will prepare them for the detailed topics that follow. This foundation will set the tone for a successful financial freedom journey.
Session #4 - Budgeting
Objective: This module will equip participants with the practical skills and biblical wisdom needed to create and maintain an effective budget, setting a strong foundation for the subsequent topics of savings, debt, investing, and insurance.
Session #5 - Savings Strategies
Objective: This module will equip participants with the knowledge and tools needed to develop effective savings habits, ensuring they are prepared for emergencies and future financial goals, all grounded in biblical principles.
Session #6 - Debt Management
Objective: This module will equip participants with the knowledge and strategies needed to manage and reduce their debt effectively, grounded in biblical wisdom and principles.

Objective: This module will equip participants with the foundational knowledge and tools needed to start investing wisely, building wealth in alignment with biblical principles and values.
Session #8- Insurance Principles
Objective: This module will equip participants with the knowledge and tools needed to understand and manage their insurance needs effectively, ensuring they are well-protected and financially secure, all while grounded in biblical principles.
